Petkim Signs Contracts for New Petrochemical Plant Engineering
Pecohub Petkim announced Friday it has signed multiple agreements for engineering and technology services as part of its Master Plan development.
The Turkish petrochemical producer entered into a Front-End Engineering Design services contract and a Mixed Feed Steam Cracker technology license agreement with Technip Energies Italy.
Petkim also signed a license and engineering agreement with Lummus Novolen Technology for a polypropylene unit. A separate license agreement was reached with Univation Technologies for a planned polyethylene unit.
The company said it plans to finalize agreements for the FEED process and begin FEED activities in the third quarter. The work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
Petkim expects to spend approximately $70 million in total capital expenditure for the FEED process.
The company disclosed the contracts in an exchange filing.
