Alicia Keys celebrated her native New York City at the 2022 Met Gala in a Ralph Lauren outfit that included a cape featuring the city’s skyline arranged in crystals.
The 41-year-old singer upon arrival told reporters that her dress was meant to ‘represent an empire state of mind and a city of gods here’.
The designer dress used 200,000 hand-placed crystals to outline the city’s skyline.
Alicia looked stunning in the strapless silver floor-length gown that included the sweeping one-shoulder cape with a small train.

Alicia and fellow New York City native Swizz, real name Kasseem Daoud Dean, have been married since 2010 and have two children together.
