In Enugu: Godfrey Okoye University Students Wail Over Increased School Fees, Health Insurance Fee

Godfrey Okoye University released the new school fees for 2022/2023 Academic Session and many students seem not to be pleased with it.

A 300 Level student on the condition of anonymity said;

“How can a school professing to be a christian institution increase fees so high? 

Another student added;

Pls I’m in my final year, I don’t know how my parents will fund such a sum in such short time. Please help us! Let the whole world see how wicked, insensitive, and commercial this school is.”

Some Comments from the students WhatsApp Forum;

“if say ah no, i for change school immediately i pay acceptance fee, ah swear”

“shame no dey even catch this school to collect health insurance fee, upon the medical fee we are paying”

“they have added health insurance fee for every level – 5k “

“on top medical fee that we have been dashing them, life in godfrey odiro easy”

Furthermore, students frowned at the new Health Insurance Fee Citing a student who died something due to negligence and lack of proper medical apparatus/personnel in the university clinic
