FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi with a “The Best” award on Saturday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, in the presence of all members of the Moroccan national team.
Hakimi, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, was recognized for his outstanding performances in 2025 and earned a spot in the Best XI for the 2024-25 season, which was unveiled during the awards ceremony in Doha, Qatar.

The 2025 Best XI is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint-Germain/Manchester City – Italy)
Defenders: Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain – Morocco), William Pacho (Paris Saint-Germain – Ecuador), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool – Netherlands), Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint-Germain – Portugal)
