Vanessa Bryant, the widow of the late NBA great Kobe Bryant, has officially responded to the pregnancy rumors.
Kobe Bryant, a five-time NBA champion, was killed in a helicopter crash in January of 2020. Bryant was traveling to a youth basketball game with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant, and some family friends. The helicopter crashed in the Southern California mountains, likely due to bad weather conditions.
Vanessa Bryant, who married Kobe Bryant in 2001 after meeting him during a music video filming, has stayed private with her dating life in the wake of her husband’s death.
Recently, unfounded pregnancy rumors have been swirling for the wife of the late NBA great. Rumors of Vanessa Bryant’s pregnancy have swirled on social media, leading to significant speculation.
The widow of the Los Angeles Lakers legend responded to the pregnancy rumors on social media this week.
Vanessa Bryant responds
Vanessa Bryant not-so-subtly responded to the pregnancy rumors on social media, posting a video of herself drinking at the U.S. Open in New York City.
The widow of the NBA Hall of Famer posted a photo of herself drinking a Honey Deuce cocktail at the U.S. Open. The famous U.S. Open cocktail features vodka, lemonade and raspberry liqueur.
“Enjoying my honey deuce,” Bryant said.
“Keep me posted on how this imaginary pregnancy rumor is coming along. 24 years later … same rumor.”
Vanessa Bryant used a Rihanna meme to respond to the rumor, too.
“Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer,” she captioned her post.
Vanessa Bryant posted a special message last month
Last month, on Kobe Bryant’s birthday, August 23 (one day before Kobe Bryant Day, 8/24 – the two numbers he wore during his career), Vanessa Bryant posted a special message for her late husband.
“We love and miss you and Gigi so much,” Vanessa said on Kobe’s birthday last month. “Sending our love to you. Happy birthday, baby.”
Our thoughts continue to be with the Bryant family.
