Chairman of the United Bank of Africa (UBA) Group Tony Elumelu has visited the city of Jerusalem in Israel on pilgrimage.

The Africapitalist shared photos from his visit to various historic sites in the ‘old city’ of Jerusalem.

While he remarked on his experience during his visit, Elumelu noted it was indeed a humbling one.

Captioning the photos shared on his social media platforms, the philanthropist said: “While in Israel, I visited the Old City of Jerusalem and what a humbling experience #HolyLand #TOEWay.”

The banking mogul was recently in the news after Nigeria’s 16th President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid him a visit in his luxurious home.

And then came along his 60th birthday anniversary which he was greeted by the outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari and others notables across the country and continued.

To celebrate his unique age milestone as he officially joined the league of sexanegarian, Elumelu chose to hold a symposium with beneficiaries of the Tony Elumelu Foundation beneficiaries in attendance.

The symposium, which was held at the Tony Elumelu Amphitheatre in UBA House, was tagged ’60 for 60’ and had 60 beneficiaries of the TEF entrepreneurship programme in attendance as well as friends and colleagues.

Hours after the symposium, close friends, associates, and family gathered at an undisclosed venue for a close-knit birthday party for the Chairman Heirs Holdings while some top musical acts thrilled with some exhilarating performances.

After CKay wet the floor, Flavour N’abania took over to perform some numbers including the popular track, ‘Game Changer (Dike)’ and eventually passed the baton Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid.
