Tinubu Receives Madagascar’s President in Abuja for Strategic Talks
Pecohub President Bola Tinubu on Monday hosted the President of Madagascar, Michael Randrianirina, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in a move aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations and expanding cooperation between both countries.
President Randrianirina arrived at the State House Forecourt at about 2:57 pm on a courtesy visit and was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
Following a brief reception ceremony, the Madagascan leader was escorted to the President’s office, where he held talks with President Tinubu.
The meeting is expected to further consolidate ties between Nigeria and Madagascar, with discussions focusing on issues of mutual interest, including regional development, economic cooperation and continental integration.
Nigeria and Madagascar have continued to pursue closer collaboration in areas critical to Africa’s growth and prosperity, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting development and enhancing engagement across the continent.
