DJ Tim Westwood is facing allegations from a woman who has accused him of having sex with her when she was 14-years-old.
The woman has alleged the former Radio 1 DJ, who is now 64, was in his 30s at the time and described him as a “predator”.
The woman is one of several to come forward following an investigation by BBC News and the Guardian, with claims of misconduct and abuse dating from 1990 to 2020.
It is illegal in the UK to have sex with a 14-year-old.
BBC News will air a new documentary on Wednesday (July 13) at 10pm which is called Hip Hop’s Open Secret: Tim Westwood and feature testimonies from women accusing Westwood of sexual misconduct.
One of the women accusing the radio DJ says she was just 14 when she first had sex with him. Another claims to have been 16 when he began what she describes as a “controlling” relationship.
One woman, who was 20 at the time, says he assaulted her by pushing his penis into her mouth while she resisted.
Two other women have said they were in their mid-teens when they were sexually assaulted by Mr Westwood.
In April, three women accused the DJ of opportunistic and predatory sexual behaviour, while four others alleged they were groped by him at events.
The allegations were detailed in a BBC Three documentary, Tim Westwood: Abuse Of Power.
Tim strongly denies the allegations, with his representative saying at the time: “Tim Westwood strongly denies all allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
