New mother Rihanna was beaming as she made a surprise appearance at a London art gallery on Tuesday evening.
The 34-year-old musician and fashion mogul made a solo appearance at the Mexican Geniuses Exhibition at Dock X in Canada Water to look at the work of Frida Kahlo.
Rihanna was glowing as she donned casual attire for the intimate viewing, wearing a black bell sleeved top with lace trim coupled with a gold necklace and chunky ring.
She finished off her look with panelled black jeans and green and white trainers as she posed for photos while sitting on an iron bench in a rare outing since giving birth to her first son in May.
The photos were posted on the official Instagram pages of Fever UK and Mexican Arts and Culture Company, Brain Hunter, with the caption: “We found love in an artsy place.
“Last night, @badgalriri visited @themexicangeniuses exhibition in #London and she met (virtually, at least) one of her idols, #FridaKahlo. We are SCREAMING INTERNALLY.”
The Mexican Geniuses Exhibition showcased the works of Frida and her husband Diego Rivera in an immersive experience.
According to its website, the immersive room experience helps “explore the artists’ most compelling works in a light and sound spectacular featuring over 300 digital projections that envelop the walls around you”.
Through virtual reality, you can also “travel to the After Life and celebrate the Day of the Dead in a world inspired by their works of art”.
The rare outing in London comes nearly two weeks after making her first public appearance since giving birth two months at the Wireless Festival.
She was supporting boyfriend A$AP Rocky at the event, who performed shortly after her ex Chris Brown was on stage during the opening day of the festival.
Brown and Rocky both produced energetic performances at London’s Crystal Palace Park on July 1 at the event which was held over two weekends in three locations, with acts such as Cardi B and Nicki Minaj performing at Finsbury Park and Birmingham NEC.
