Recall that the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, at a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) on Saturday, March 4, 2023, announced the results and total number of positions held by eight political parties in the just-concluded Senate and House of Representatives for the 10th national assembly.
Also recall that the Labour Party (LP) had clinched 34 House of Representatives seats and six (6) senatorial positions, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Late Wednesday night, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) took to his official Twitter timeline, where he shared pictures of himself with the party’s senators and house members at a dinner held in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Peter Obi’s tweet reads, “This evening, I hosted the welcome dinner for Labour Party senators and members of the House of Representatives in Abuja.”
