Nigerian fintech company OPay is reportedly preparing to enter the US public markets after recording $90.9 million in profit and $467.1 million in revenue over a six-month period, according to figures shared by an account on X.

The company, which operates digital payment and financial services across Nigeria, has reportedly filed a Form F-1 registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The filing suggests preparations for a potential public offering, although registration does not automatically mean a listing has been approved or scheduled.
The development could place OPay among the Nigerian-founded or Nigeria-focused fintech businesses seeking access to international capital markets.
