Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic (Greece), Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi, CON, has formally presented the Copies of his Letters of Credence to Ambassador Dimitrios Zevelakis, Chief of Protocol at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The diplomatic engagement marks an important step in Ambassador Ugwuanyi’s assumption of official duties in Greece ahead of the formal presentation of his Letters of Credence to the President of the Hellenic Republic.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the cordial and longstanding relations between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Hellenic Republic, while expressing their shared commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, mutual understanding and friendship.
The presentation of the Copies of Letters of Credence is a key diplomatic protocol that enables an ambassador to begin engaging officially with the host country’s government while preparations are made for the formal accreditation ceremony
