Kim Kardashian, testifying in the trial of the burglars accused of tying her up and robbing her at gunpoint nearly nine years ago, told a Paris court on Tuesday that she “absolutely thought” her assailants would kill her. CNN’s Saskya Vandoorne reports from outside the courtroom.

Nearly a decade after being held at gunpoint and robbed of millions, Kim Kardashian is facing her alleged attackers in a Paris courtroom.

Kim Kardashian made a sleek, all-black statement as she arrived at a Paris courthouse to testify in the case of her 2016 robbery at gunpoint.

Her court appearance comes as three of the ten men on trial have already taken the stand, including Yunice Abbas, who admitted to fumbling part of the stolen jewelry during the getaway.

Twelve suspects were originally linked to the robbery that left Kim Kardashian tied up in her hotel room and stripped of over $10 million in jewelry; only ten are now standing trial.

Kim made her courtroom entrance look like a runway moment as she arrived in Paris on Tuesday to testify against the men accused of robbing her at gunpoint nearly a decade ago.

Pulling up to the courthouse in a black van alongside mom Kris Jenner, the reality star greeted the paparazzi with a confident smile and wave before heading inside for her big day on the stand.

Despite the serious nature of the case, Kim did not hold back on glamour. She wore a sharp vintage John Galliano blazer dress paired with Saint Laurent slingbacks and oversized Alaïa sunglasses. Her jewelry, however, stole the show.

The entrepreneur was decked out in an estimated $1.5 million worth of diamonds, including a statement necklace by Samer Halimeh New York, diamond earrings, including a $8,100 Briony Raymond ear cuff, and a massive ring.

Her hair was swept into a sleek twist, completing the polished, powerful look. At one point, Kim paused on the courthouse steps, turning back to flash a quick smile and wave to the press gathered below.

Kris kept things more understated in a plaid blazer and black trousers, letting her daughter take the spotlight.

Before Kim’s day in court, three of the ten suspects standing trial had already shared their side of the story.

The Blast reported in April that one of the men, Yunice Abbas, recounted his role in the early morning robbery at the Hôtel de Pourtalès during Paris Fashion Week.

Abbas told the court that he and the group, dubbed the “Grandpa Robbers,” overpowered a security guard around 3 a.m. on October 3, 2016, and stormed Kim’s rented suite.
