A lifelong dream came true for Japanese anime icon Shoko Nakagawa, who is nine months pregnant with twin boys, when she met her idol, the legendary Jackie Chan.
Chan blessed her baby bump with a heart-shaped kiss in a moment that quickly went viral online.

Nakagawa, 40, who is affectionately known as “Shokotan”, is widely recognised as an anime icon and boasts over 345,000 followers on a major social media platform.
She is best known as the host of Pokémon Sunday and as the performer of the opening theme song for the anime Gurren Lagann.

Since childhood, Nakagawa has been a huge fan of Chan. She once even described him as “truly a god forever.”
Their encounter took place during Chan’s visit to Tokyo on August 29, while the 71-year-old film legend was attending screenings for his new action production Karate Kid: Legends.
At the event, not only did she greet him, but Chan also surprised her by gently rubbing her baby bump.
She later posted photos of herself on social media with the kung fu star and wrote: “An unbelievable miracle came true. I got to meet Jackie Chan. What a surprise.”

She revealed that Chan “gently held her pregnant belly” and even blew a heart-shaped kiss in the direction of her bump.
“I am so happy. He is the most amazing person; he has always been a god. A legend who has changed the lives of people all over the world for the better. I hope Jackie stays healthy and happy forever! My dream in life has always been to meet Jackie someday.”
Then she added: “I have set the photo as my phone wallpaper. One day, I will show it to my twin sons as one of mummy’s most treasured memories.”
Beyond her memorable meeting with Chan, Nakagawa also had the opportunity to meet other prominent figures at the event, including Japanese actor and martial artist Yasuaki Kurata.
Chan has long been one of the most beloved and recognisable international stars in Japan.
