Scores of protesters believed to be be members of affiliate labour unions of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Wednesday morning swooped on the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
The placards-bearing protesters, chanting solidarity songs, said they were opposed to the concession of the airport by the Federal government.
The protesters, Pecohub gathered, were members of Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association Of Nigeria, National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), Association of Nigeria Aviation Professionals (ANAP),
The Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development had last Thursday announced the concession of Enugu Airport after over a year of negotiations with Aero Alliance.
