The Founder of Adoration Ministry Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, Tuesday, commissioned the newly renovated Ebonyi Police Monitoring and Surveillance Team (CMST) station
The Station was renovated by Fabian Iloabanafor, Commander of the unit.
Mbaka was received by the State Police Commissioner CP Faleye Olaleye at the force headquarters.
The Rev Father blessed the CP who is set for retirement soon and commended him for his dedication to service.
He then proceeded to the Monitoring and Surveillance Team (CMST), Liberation Estate, Abakaliki, where he blessed the building
In his remark, CP Faleye , commended the effort of the unit commander for his efforts in seeing that the command is secure and protected.
The CMST commander, Fabian Iloabanafor, explained that the (CMST) Unit was created to assist the command to monitor and curtail excesses of uniform personnel and tackling of other crimes in the State.
He commended Ebonyians who had supported him in renovating the command.
His said: “When we came here, this place was bushy, and hoodlums were attacking policemen because there was no fence.
In fact, nothing was on ground so the only option was to approach some individuals who are leaving here and outside the Estate to assist us execute this project an today to the glory of God the building is completed.
“With this base, I am expecting more manpower, more vehicles and other logistics to secure the state.
He however called on well meaning people in the state to support the police to ensure that their safety is well protected.
