In a moment of pride for the Abia State Police Command and the nation at large, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chinaka Maureen Chioma, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Abia State, has been awarded a prestigious Certificate of Commendation by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.
The recognition was presented during the Nigeria Police Awards and Commendation Ceremony recently held in Abuja, celebrating exemplary service, discipline, and professionalism within the force.
DSP Chinaka was recognized for her outstanding contributions to public relations and community engagement, reflecting her consistent dedication to transparency and public trust in policing. In her heartfelt remarks, she expressed deep gratitude to God and acknowledged the support of the Inspector-General of Police, the Force PRO, and the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi.
“I am deeply honored to receive the IGP Commendation for my role as PPRO, Abia State Command. I carry this award not in pride but with prestige, challenging myself to do even better,” she stated.
She also extended her appreciation to her colleagues in the Public Relations Department, her coursemates, and her family and friends for their continued encouragement.
