Sean “Diddy” Combs was on Saturday morning taken out of a federal prison in New Jersey, the United States, for a medical emergency.
Sources at FCI Fort Dix said that the music mogul left the prison grounds around 1am to receive treatment for a head injury. He was presumably taken to a nearby hospital, though this has not been confirmed.
The sources said the injury was not life-threatening, as Diddy was conscious and speaking when he was taken back to the prison before sunrise.
It is still unclear how he sustained the injury.
The rapper has had an eventful few weeks behind bars. He was moved into the special housing unit following claims that he was living a comfortable life in prison, including getting massages, alcohol and a cellphone containing nude pictures.
In July, he was also involved in a fight with another inmate.
His release date has also been pushed back by several weeks, from January 2028 to March 2028.
