Something knocked Canada Rinaldi down ahead of her wedding day and it is not love!
The 27-year-old got involved in an incident that pulled out three teeth and left her battered and bruised a few weeks before her big day.
Canada Rinaldi was brutally assaulted during her bachelorette party over the weekend, and a GoFundMe was set up to help her with medical bills as she recovers.
Rinaldi, a 27-year-old from Oklahoma, suffered multiple injuries during an attack while celebrating her bachelorette party in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend. She was out with friends when the incident occurred.
According to a GoFundMe page by bridesmaid Kirsten McDowell, March 22 was meant to be one of the happiest nights of Rinaldi’s life.
The GoFundMe page shared that Rinaldi was violently assaulted just four weeks before her wedding, leaving her with serious injuries, including a broken nose, three broken teeth, and eight stitches in her face.
The page describes how she had been enjoying what she thought was the best trip of her life just 24 hours before the attack, which transformed her joyful experience into the “most terrifying and traumatizing night” she has ever faced.
Due to the assault, she is now burdened with significant medical expenses as she attempts to heal both physically and emotionally during this challenging time.
The GoFundMe urged the community to help her, emphasizing that no one should endure such trauma or the accompanying financial strain. The campaign has raised nearly $16,000 as of March 27.
The unfortunate attack occurred around 2 a.m. local time on Sunday morning, March 23, as the group of friends gleefully located their Uber after a fun night at the club in Deep Ellum.
