The Enugu state government is currently sending businesses packing from the Kenyatta market in Uwani in a restoring the “Enugu master plan” move

An army of security agents blocked off the streets from Edozie, Ziks Avenue to the Timber market in Maryland area.

If you’re caught making a video or taking photos, your device would be confiscated.

Most of the business have been provided alternative locations at the new Kenyatta Market in Ugwuaji, along the Enugu-Portharcourt expressway.

It is expected that some parts of the market will be demolished today to reclaim the land that has been reportedly sold off to a real estate developer whom can no longer wait to start developing the area, yet another estate possible on the way.
