Don Jazzy Says Johnny Drille Stands Out as a Complete Artist
Pecohub Mavin Records chief executive Michael Collins Ajereh has named Johnny Drille as the most complete musician in today’s Nigerian music scene.
Speaking on the Crea8torium podcast, Ajereh said Drille’s strength lies in his ability to write, produce, sing, and perform at the same level across both studio recordings and live shows.
He noted that the singer’s versatility set him apart in an industry where few artists handled every aspect of their craft to that standard.
Ajereh added that Drille occupied a distinct position in the market, operating in a space he considered unmatched by his peers.
“If you look at the Nigerian music industry right now, there is nobody like Johnny Drille.
“He is in a world of his own. He is like the best musician – the complete musician that I know.
“He is versatile. He mix, write, sing. He does everything.
“He is also an amazing performer, the way he sounds in the studio is the same way he sounds in live shows,” he said.
