Ye has had issues with many people these last few months, but no one more than Playboi Carti. Digital Nas claims that the former collaborators could reconcile soon after months of beefing.
The producer has been a close associate of the multi-time Grammy winner these last few months.
He appeared on Sneako’s stream this week to discuss the latest in the Carti-Ye saga. “Ye is in touch with [Carti affiliate] Fritz [Owens],” he told the streamer. “I think we’re going to see a reunion soon. Hopefully. I don’t like to see my brothers separate.”
Neither rapper has confirmed this claim, so time will ultimately tell.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West and the Atlanta enigma have been on the outs since the latter released his latest album Music in March.
West took issue with the fact that he was not featured on the album, meanwhile Kendrick Lamar had three features. Ye bombed on the “Timeless” artist on social media to the point where Carti made a rare appearance on X and told his mentor to “STFU.”
Ye was even more infuriated by the fact Playboi Carti had gotten Kim Kardashian’s blessing to make a song with their daughter North, meanwhile, he faced legal repercussions for including her on a song with Diddy.
The Chicago producer made his disdain for Carti clear by removing “Melrose” featuring him and Ty Dolla $ign, from his latest album, Bully. However, in a recent covert upload of Donda 2, Ye included “Mr. Miyagi” which featured the Opium boss and Future.
