Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has dismissed rumours linking Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen with a move to the Italian club. He said there is “no deal in the works” and that Juventus are not planning to sign the Super Eagles forward.

Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in top form this season. He has scored 33 goals in 38 matches in the Turkish Super Lig, catching the attention of several big European clubs.

Some reports in Italy had claimed that Juventus were ready to bring him back to Serie A as a possible replacement for Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is struggling for form and may leave the club in the summer.

However, Giuntoli strongly denied the rumours.

“I am not interested in Osimhen,” he told reporters. “The stories in the media are just to put pressure on us. Juventus do not want the player.”

His statement came after Italian journalist Raffaele Auriemma claimed that Osimhen had agreed a deal with Juventus and that the club had already made an €85 million bid. But Giuntoli’s words have now made it clear that there is no truth in those reports.

Osimhen’s future is still uncertain. He has a contract with Napoli until June 2026, which includes a €75 million release clause — but that amount only applies to clubs outside Italy. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is not expected to let him join a direct rival like Juventus unless a much bigger offer is made.

Meanwhile, Osimhen continues to shine in Turkey. He helped Napoli win the Serie A titlebefore moving to Galatasaray, where he could finish the season as both league champion and top scorer. Galatasaray fans have even started a social media campaign to convince him to stay.

Napoli, preparing for his possible departure, signed Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea as his replacement last year.

Osimhen has proven himself across Europe — in Belgium, France, Italy, and Turkey — and is now seen as one of the most wanted strikers in the game. But for now, it looks like Juventus are not in the race to sign him.
