Rangers International’s technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club.

The new deal will see the 46-year-old remain in charge of the Coal City side until the end of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Ilechukwu led the Flying Antelopes to their eighth NPFL title last season, cementing his place as one of the top coaches in the country.

Although Rangers failed to retain their title this season, losing out to Remo Stars, they still have a chance to win silverware as they are through to the semi-finals of the President Federation Cup.

Rangers will take on Kwara United in the semi-final at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan next Wednesday.

Before joining Rangers, Ilechukwu previously managed MFM FC, Heartland, and Plateau United.
