In a grand celebration of achievement and service, the First Lady of Imo State, Chioma Uzodimma, was conferred with a Doctor of Public Administration (Honoris Causa) by Hezekiah University, Umudi, in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.
The prestigious ceremony was attended by Governor Hope Uzodimma, esteemed dignitaries, scholars, clergymen, and well-wishers, all gathered to witness the remarkable honor bestowed upon the First Lady.
Receiving the recognition with grace and gratitude, Uzodimma dedicated the award to the women of Imo State and all women who have defied societal constraints to pursue their dreams. Expressing her appreciation on Instagram, she wrote:
“This honorary doctorate is not mine alone; it belongs to every woman who has dared to challenge societal limitations, to every young girl told that her dreams are too ambitious, and to everyone who believes in the transformative power of education and service.”
She extended her heartfelt gratitude to the Senate, Board of Trustees, and Council of the faith-based university, founded and promoted by His Grace, the Most Reverend Professor Hezekiah O.O.N., who also serves as the Founder and Leader of the Living Christ Mission Incorporated Worldwide.
Reflecting on her journey, the First Lady acknowledged the sacrifices and resilience of those who paved the way for progress, stating: “My journey has been shaped by the courage of women who fought to amplify our voices and the resilience of those who continue to advocate for equitable representation while uplifting others as they rise.”
