The Federal High Court in Lagos witnessed a dramatic turn of events this morning as Justice Alexander Owoeye criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged harassment of music producer Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, CEO of EeZee Conceptz Global.

The case, which involves popular gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her former boss, took an unexpected direction when Justice Owoeye, who had previously issued an arrest warrant for Onyedikachukwu, reprimanded the EFCC for actions deemed as intimidation and abuse of court processes.

The court issued a stern order directing the EFCC to refrain from further harassment of the music producer.

Sources suggest that Mercy Chinwo had invited members of the press to the court, seemingly expecting a pivotal moment, possibly linked to Onyedikachukwu’s potential arrest.

However, the court’s decision and the judge’s strong rebuke shifted the spotlight, resulting in an outcome that left Chinwo and her team facing an awkward situation.

The judge’s remarks have sparked discussions about the EFCC’s approach to the case and the broader implications for the ongoing legal battle.
