The Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke has expressed gratitude to the students and staff of the University for their great contribution to emergence of the university as the one hundred and forty-seventh (147th) best university in Africa, third best private university in Nigeria and the best private university in the southeast.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that the latest rankings have confirmed the university as one the fastest growing tertiary institutions in Nigeria and urged them to sustain the tempo.
Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke who remarked this at a general prayers at Goodluck Ebere Convocation Arena, Thinkers Corner, Enugu urged the students and staff to exchange gifts in the spirit of Christmas.
He announced that next session, nursing and pharmacy courses would be added to the University’s academic programmes
The Vice-Chancellor revealed that over 1000 new students were admitted during the current 2023/2024 academic session of Godfrey Okoye University.
